A New Look, New Stories, and a New Chapter
If you’ve visited donmassenzio.com recently, you may have noticed something different.
The site has a bold new look—darker, moodier, and more immersive. The updated design reflects the tone of my recent work: atmospheric, character-driven, and grounded in mystery and human complexity. From the dramatic skyline visuals to the streamlined navigation, the goal was simple: create a space that feels less like a static website and more like stepping into a story.
This redesign marks more than a cosmetic change. It signals a new chapter.
It also reflects a rebranding. I have redesigned all of my book covers to reflect a cohesive look and theme.
Your comments on the site are greatly appreciated!
Three New Books in Six Months

The past six months have been among the most productive of my writing life. I’m excited to share that I’ve released three new books during that time:
Furlong Frank
A deeper dive into the life and investigations of Frank Rozzani set against the backdrop of the world of horse racing. This installment pushes Frank into new emotional and professional territory, testing loyalties and forcing him to confront truths that refuse to stay buried.
Ebenezer
A departure in setting but not in intensity. Ebenezer reimagines the formative years of one of literature’s most iconic characters. It’s darker than tradition might suggest, exploring how environment, loss, and survival shape a man long before redemption ever enters the picture.
Frank Abroad
Frank leaves familiar ground in this international chapter of the series. New landscapes. New dangers. New moral dilemmas. When you take a detective out of his element, you discover what truly defines him.
Each of these books represents growth—not only for the characters, but for me as a writer. I’ve stretched into new settings, deeper emotional arcs, and more layered storytelling.
And I’m just getting started.
A More Active Blog (And More Conversation)
One of my commitments moving forward is to be more active here on the blog.
You can expect:
- Behind-the-scenes insights into my writing process
- Discussions about plotting, structure, and character development
- Thoughts on independent publishing
- Reflections on storytelling craft
- Commentary on the creative life
More importantly, I want this to be interactive.
Writing can be solitary. Publishing doesn’t have to be.
I plan to engage more frequently with fellow authors, readers, and creatives. That means commenting, sharing, discussing, and spotlighting other voices in the writing community.
Let’s Collaborate
I’m always interested in meaningful exchange within the writing world.
If you’re an author, blogger, or reviewer and would like to:
- Trade interviews
- Exchange honest book reviews
- Reblog or cross-promote interesting posts
- Participate in a craft discussion
- Collaborate on themed content
I’m open.
Reach out through the contact page or connect with me directly. Let’s build conversations that benefit readers and writers alike.
This new design represents momentum.
The new books represent growth.
The renewed blogging represents connection.
Thanks for being part of the journey.
